Join us in Milwaukee from April 26-28 at the Wisconsin Center, one of the world’s most architecturally exhilarating and technologically robust convention facilities, and the nearby historic Hilton Milwaukee City Center hotel for the 2022 National Service Training — Central regional event. This event is hosted by America's Service Commissions (ASC) in partnership with Serve Wisconsin. Come together with national service program colleagues, state service commission staff, AmeriCorps agency colleagues, and volunteer engagement partners for an educational and inspiring training opportunity! Please note: To register for the event, you will first need to create an ASC profile or log-in to your existing ASC account using the event registration link provided. If you are a new user, enter your email under "New Users" to create an account. If you already have an ASC account but do not know your password, click "Forgot Password" and enter your work email address. You'll then be prompted to create/update your password in the system. Once you are logged in, please return to the event registration link at the top of this page to finish registering. Click "register yourself" to go through the process. Cancellations may be made at anytime, however refunds will not be processed after April 8. If you have not cancelled by April 8, you are still responsible for your registration payment. LIVESTREAM During the West event, we will be livestreaming plenary sessions and select workshops for those unable to attend one of the three events in person. Anyone from any region can register for the livestream, but you must do so using the registration form for the West event. The registration fee for the livestream option is $150. Opt-in states will receive a discount code. More information is forthcoming. Keynote Speaker: Sarah Eagle Heart
We are excited to announce our 2022 keynote speaker for all three regional events is Emmy award winning storyteller Sarah Eagle Heart! Sarah Eagle Heart is focused on education and advocacy on behalf of Indigenous Peoples whose deep perspective is rooted in her life story as an Oglala Lakota activist raised on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. She is an internationally accomplished executive with a diverse background in tribal, corporate, and nonprofit organizations focusing on communications, marketing, program development, fundraising, and advocacy with a unique vantage point to amplify impact. She is currently Co-CEO of Return to the Heart Foundation, an Indigenous women led organization focused on resourcing innovative Indigenous women led initiatives in the ecosystems of narrative change, healing, climate justice, civic engagement, and restorative and regenerative development. Her current narrative change initiatives in 2020 revolved around civic engagement with Sisters Rising working with We Stand United and Justice for Migrant Women, as well as supporting traditional helpers and healers. Their organization has worked with actors and musicians like: Anne Hathaway, Brooke Simpson, Mac DeMarco, Marisa Tomei, Mumu Fresh, Taboo, Tonia Jo Hall, Orville Pec, Piper Perabo, and Portugal. Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the event. Closest Airport: LODGING All event sessions will take place at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee. The Hilton Milwaukee City Center hotel is across the SkyWalk from the event center and will serve as our headquarters hotel.

The card used to guarantee your reservation may be charged in the event that the guest no-shows or cancels within the cancellation penalty. Hotel Cancellation Policy Cancellation of an entire reservation within 48 hours of arrival will be subject to one night's room and tax penalty charged by the hotel. GROUND TRANSPORTATION Attendees must secure their own transportation between the airport, hotel, and event location. Taxis and ride-share services (Uber, Lyft etc.) are widely available.
