REGISTRATION
Join us in Charleston, WV from May 15-17 at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center, the city's entertainment centerpiece, for the 2023 National Service Training — East regional event. This event is hosted by America's Service Commissions (ASC) in partnership with Volunteer West Virginia. Come together with national service program colleagues, state service commission staff, AmeriCorps agency colleagues, and volunteer engagement partners for an educational and inspiring training opportunity! Registration for this event is closed. Please email us with any questions.
Registration for the event is $400 per attendee.

However, the following discount codes may apply:
  • $300 registration fee for AmeriCorps State programs of the following states: Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Vermont, West Virginia (Check with your state service commission for the discount code.)
  • $200 registration fee for commission staff and commissioners of the following states: Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Vermont, West Virginia  (Discount code emailed separately.)

Please note: To register for the event, you will first need to create an ASC profile or log-in to your existing ASC account using the event registration link provided. If you are a new user, enter your email under "New Users" to create an account. If you already have an ASC account but do not know your password, click "Forgot Password" and enter your work email address. You'll then be prompted to create/update your password in the system.

Once you are logged in, please return to the event registration link at the top of this page to finish registering. Click "register yourself" to go through the process.

REGISTRATION CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations may be made at anytime, but refunds will not be processed after April 24. If you have not cancelled by April 24, you are still responsible for your registration payment.

ACCOMMODATIONS
We will make every reasonable effort to provide effective accommodations for event participants. Accommodation requests including dietary requests must be made at the time of registration. If you have an accommodation request (e.g., dietary restrictions, service animal relief area, interpreter, or Braille) for the event, please indicate when you register in the space provided or email us for further assistance.

We also encourage you to complete this anonymous survey with any ideas on how we can make our event more welcoming and inclusive.

All event sessions will take place at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center, a short walk from Charleston Marriott Town Center, our headquarters hotel.

Attendees may also book rooms via our Call Center at 407-583-6049 from Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm Eastern. For special requests or to book a block of rooms, please email DF Meetings & Events.

If you have a hotel tax exemption status, it typically only applies in the state in which your organization is located. Whether hotels accept this varies. If you have questions on this, email DF Meetings & Events.


Please note: the credit card provided is used only to guarantee the reservation and is not charged at the time of booking. If you will not have a credit card to provide at check-in, please email DF Meetings & Events or call them at 407-583-6049, and they will assist you with setting up prepayment for your room(s). The card used to guarantee your reservation may be charged in the event that the guest no-shows or cancels within the cancellation penalty.

Hotel Cancellation Policy
Reservations cancelled within 48 hours of arrival will be subject to one night's room and tax penalty by hotel.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Attendees must secure their own transportation between the airport, hotel, and event location. Taxis and ride-share services (Uber, Lyft etc.) are widely available. More information is available from the Yeager airport
