---

As in the past, ASC will be offering special meeting spaces for commissions and other groups to gather during National Service Training, as space allows.

Some commissions will utilize a special meeting time to meet with their programs that are attending in person. Special meeting space is limited and will be filled in the order requests are received.

Requests must be submitted via the special meeting request form. Requests will not be collected via email. The special meeting request form will ask for the following information.
  • Contact information for lead point of contact
  • Name of meeting as it should be listed in the event app (i.e., Volunteer Iowa AmeriCorps Programs Gathering)
  • Estimated number of attendees
  • First choice meeting time

Available special meeting times are as follows (subject to change).
  • 9:00-9:45am on Tuesday, April 14
  • 10:00-10:45am on Tuesday, April 14

All rooms will have standard A/V (projector, screen, and laptop) available for use. If you anticipate sharing PowerPoint slides, please have them on a flash drive or available on a web-accessible platform. Unplugging the provided laptop and switching in your own machine will not be allowed. The room setup is anticipated to be theater style seating and will not be able to be changed by your group. It is your responsibility to communicate your special meeting to your intended participants.

Special meeting requests will be confirmed as soon as possible after they have been made; however, room assignments will not be made until closer to the event. If all the available rooms for each time slot are filled, a waitlist will be kept.
Frequently asked questions — Coming Soon
We will host an attendee informational webinar closer to the event. Once this is scheduled, we will communicate this out to attendees. As the planning proceeds, we will also share answers to some frequently asked questions here. Please watch this site for additional announcements.
