NST — Dallas · April 14-16

Join us April 14-16 in Addison, TX (north Dallas) for in-person 2026 National Service Training, hosted by America's Service Commissions (ASC). Come together with national service program colleagues, state and territorial service commission staff, AmeriCorps agency colleagues, and volunteer engagement partners for an educational and inspiring training opportunity.

Addison, TX is located only 13 miles from downtown Dallas, 17 miles from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and 11 miles from Dallas/Love Field Airport, Addison is at the center of it all.

  • Supporting Commission Rate (Available December 15 to February 15)
    • $375 for AmeriCorps State program staff
    • $325 for commission staff and commissioners
  • Early Bird Rate (Available January 12 to February 15)
    • $525 for all attendees not affiliated with a supporting commission
  • Regular Rate (Available February 16 to March 13)
    • $625 for all attendees

Registration Deadlines
  • February 15 is the last day to receive discounted registration. Neither the supporting commission rate nor the early bird rate will apply after this date.
  • March 13 is the last day to request a cancellation or refund. No refunds will be honored after this date.
  • March 13 is the last day to register for the event. However, registration may close earlier if capacity is reached before this date.

Registration Instructions
To register for the event, you will first need to create an ASC profile or log-in to your existing ASC account using the event registration link provided. If you are a new user, enter your email under "New Users" to create an account. If you already have an ASC account but do not know your password, click "Forgot Password" and enter your work email address. You'll then be prompted to create/update your password in the system.

Once you are logged in, please return to the event registration link to finish registering. Click "register yourself" to go through the process.

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from Dallas, as well as between the airport and hotel. ASC does not provide any travel or transportation for the event.

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities during NST, and we are so grateful for those who volunteer during our event. Volunteer Opportunities
SPECIAL MEETING REQUESTS 
As in the past, ASC will be offering special meeting spaces for commissions and other groups to gather during National Service Training, as space allows.

Some commissions will utilize a special meeting time to meet with their programs that are attending in person. Special meeting space is limited and will be filled in the order requests are received.

Requests must be submitted via the special meeting request form. Requests will not be collected via email. The special meeting request form will ask for the following information.
  • Contact information for lead point of contact
  • Name of meeting as it should be listed in the event app
  • Estimated number of attendees
  • First choice meeting time

Available special meeting times are as follows (subject to change).
  • 9:00-9:45am on Tuesday, April 14
 
All rooms will have standard A/V (projector, screen, and laptop) available for use. If you anticipate sharing PowerPoint slides, please have them on a flash drive or available on a web-accessible platform. Unplugging the provided laptop and switching in your own machine will not be allowed. The room setup is anticipated to be theater style seating and will not be able to be changed by your group. It is your responsibility to communicate your special meeting to your intended participants.

Special meeting requests will be confirmed as soon as possible after they have been made; however, room assignments will not be made until closer to the event. If all the available rooms for each time slot are filled, a waitlist will be kept.

​What is the National Service Training event schedule?
You can view the
schedule and workshop times on the NST website. It’s also accessible on the home screen of the app via the “agenda” button in the bottom menu. All listed times in the schedule are local to the event location, which is in the Central time zone. All event meeting rooms are located at the Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel on Ballroom and Lobby levels of the hotel.
The official event start/end times of NST are as follows.
  • Start Time: Tuesday, April 14 at 1:00pm Central
  • End Time: Thursday, April 16 at 1:30pm Central

How do I access workshop materials?
All speakers are invited to upload and share any presentations, handouts, and resources they use during workshops. View and/or download workshop materials via the specific workshop in the app or online via the event webpage.

How do I gain wifi access?
Wifi access is available to all attendees in the event meeting rooms.

I need help downloading and navigating the Whova app.
You can download the “Whova — Event & Conference App” from your app store. When you login, make sure to use email address you registered for NST with. If you have questions, please see our Whova tech support station or stop at the check-in and information desk. Additional information available on the

How can I get in touch with a speaker?
You can view all speaker information via the app. From the home screen of the app, there is a “speakers” button that will show you their names, contact information, and what session(s) they are presenting. You can also view the schedule which lists who the presenter is for each session. In addition, there is an in-app messaging feature you can use the reach out to speakers and individual attendees.

How can I get in touch with an exhibitor/sponsor?
There is an exhibitor space on the Ballroom Level in the open foyer area by registration and the ballroom where you can visit with exhibitors and sponsors at their tables. From the home screen of the app, click the Exhibitors button to view their information. In addition, there is an in-app messaging feature you can use to reach out to exhibitors, sponsors, and individual attendees. Exhibitors and sponsors may want to scan your contact information from the app, using the QR code found in your app profile. This is an easy and quick way to exchange contact information onsite!

When do I sign up for a session?
There is no need to sign up or register for a workshop session. All sessions are first-come, first-served. If a room is at capacity, the room ambassador will place a sign out front noting this, and we kindly ask that you review the schedule and choose another great workshop session.

If I arrive late, will I be able to get into the session?
Yes, you will be able to enter a session if you arrive late. Please be respectful when entering the room so as not to disturb the session, speaker, or attendees. Some rooms may be at capacity, so if the workshop room ambassador says there is no room available, we kindly ask that you review the schedule and choose another great workshop session.

What are the dining amenities available at the Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel?

Noell Jct. — Hours: Everyday, 6:30am-2pm
Located just steps from your hotel room, Noell JCT serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Addison, TX, in a chic setting. Sample contemporary American-style cuisine made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients at our stylish Addison restaurant.

Rooted Grounds Coffee Company — Hours: Everyday, 6am-8pm
Coffee House and Café.

Noell Jct. Lounge — Hours: Everyday, 2pm-12am
Welcome to Noell JCT Lounge bar in Addison, TX, located in the lobby of Renaissance Dallas Addison. Take a seat and relax after a long day to sample a craft cocktail or a local beer.

In-room dining is an option to for guests staying at the Renaissance.

Will there be a program gear/pin/sticker swap opportunity?
We are not formally organizing an opportunity in the event agenda for attendees to swap program logoed stickers, pins, etc. However, you are welcome to bring items to share or hand out to attendees or offer to trade if they would like to. This is self-selected and not an official part of the event. We would suggest that you bring business cards to hand out, as part of networking and being able to stay connected post-event. You can easily connect and share contact information in the event app as well with attendees!

Is there a lactation room available?
Yes, there is a room available on the third floor in Addison room. There will be signage available. Please check with event staff at the Check-in and Information Desk for more information. There are also long breaks built into the agenda to allow for individuals to take care of their personal needs and access their hotel rooms as needed throughout the agenda.

I need to take a break throughout the day to recharge or take a quick work call. Is there space available?
Yes, there are a few different options available depending on your needs.
  • First, there are long breaks built into the agenda to allow for individuals to take care of their personal needs and access their hotel rooms as needed throughout the agenda.
  • Second, there are open areas on the Ballroom Level throughout the space, with open seating and charging areas. Please use this space to recharge your devices or recharge yourself, or have small conversations with attendees.
  • Third, Mayfair will serve as our Tranquil Space during the event. You can find Mayfair on the Lobby Level, next to the Bel-Air meeting rooms. The Tranquil Space is a multi-purpose space for reflection, meditation, prayer, or decompression. For the most part, this is intended to be a quiet space. However, please keep in mind that some religious prayers are recited aloud, so there will be times when this space will not be completely quiet. This space is not available for conversation, phone calls, or group activities. Please find another open space in the hotel, like the lobby seating area, for conversations.
 
Is there a parking fee discount?
Attendees who are staying in the Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel do not need to do anything to receive the parking discount of $12 a day. It will be built into their hotel reservation, and noted during check-in at the hotel front desk. Attendees who are day drivers need to tell the hotel staff that they are part of the ASC National Service Training group to receive the discounted rate, or visit event staff at the check-in/information desk.


Where are restrooms located at the venue?
There is a gender-non-specific restroom is available on the third floor. Look for signage. Additional restrooms for men and women are available on the Ballroom Level close to the elevator bank and on the Lobby Level next to the Le Gala meeting room and lobby lounge as well as down the hallway past the Bel-Air meeting rooms.
